You will never find happiness until you clean the garden of your heart from the poisonous plants of envy, hatred, spite, and resentment.
Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying,
...Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.
[Sahih al-Bukhari 52]
those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness. and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). (Quran 91 : 9 - 10)
...there is no change in the words of Allah...
[Quran 10 : 64]
Ziyad bin `Ilaqah narrated from his uncle, that he said:
“[The Prophet (ﷺ)] used to say: ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil character, evil actions, and evil desires (Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika min munkarātil-akhlāqi wal-a`māli wal-ahwā’).’”
[Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3591]
Rights will be given to oppressed.
Think before you hurt someone and always remember, one day you will appear before Allah SWT (the creator), and you will answer for your deeds.
Allah SWT said in the Quran:
Every soul will be (held) to account for its deeds. [Quran 74:38]
And everything (from their deeds) is thoroughly recorded by Us in writing. [Quran 78:29]
...Every person is paid for what he did. [Quran 52 : 21]
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
“Rights will certainly be restored to those entitled to them on the Day of Resurrection, (to the point that) even the hornless sheep will lay claim upon the horned one.”
[Sahih Muslim 2582]
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. (Qur’an 99 : 7 – 8)
Be patient; God´s promise is true... (Quran 30:60)
If someone has hurt you, remember this.
The tyrant does not know how badly he will suffer on the day of judgment.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."
[Sahih al-Bukhari 2449]
Don't waste time on revenge. The people who hurt you will eventually face their own crime.
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire.
[Sahih Muslim 2581]
The oppressed will be granted the righteous deeds of their oppressors, until if they possess no more deeds of righteousness or their good deeds are exhausted, the misdeeds of the oppressed will be taken from them and cast upon their oppressors.
Almighty, help us to protect our good deeds. May we not be among those who pray, fast, and give charity but curse, swear, gossip, and backbite without batting an eyelid. Help us stay away from such behavior. Ameen
Our time will come.
A time will come, when oppressor will regret why they treated you wrong. Trust me, it will definitely come.
When a bird is alive it eats ants, but when a bird dies ants eat it. Don't hurt anyone,
everyone has their own time.
When people hurt you in this world, you just say, let's see you in hereafter. Indeed
Allah SWT will give me the best reward for your cruelty
and indeed you [oppressor] are the great loser on that day.
Harithah bin Wahb narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? Every weak and oppressed one. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? Every harsh, haughty and arrogant one.”
[Sunan Ibn Majah 4116]
Allah gives respite to the oppressor.
AND DO NOT think that God is unaware of what the evildoers are doing: He but grants them respite until the Day when their eyes will stare in horror.
The Quran says:
Do not think God is unaware of the wrongdoers actions. He only gives them respite till the Day on which all eyes will stare fixedly in horror. (Quran 14:42)
...He sees all that you do. [Quran 11 : 112]
Narrated Abu Musa:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He takes him over, He never releases him." Then he recited:-- "Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes (population of) towns in the midst of their wrong: Painful indeed, and severe is His seizure.' (11.102)
[Sahih al-Bukhari 4686]
...Had it not been for a decree already issued by your Lord (postponing the final, decisive judgment until an appointed term), it would indeed have been judged between them in respect of all that they differ on. (Quran 10:19)
If Allah punished people immediately for their crimes, no one would survive in this world.
Quran Says;
If Allah were to punish people ˹immediately˺ for what they have committed, He would not have left a single living being on earth. But He delays them for an appointed term. And when their time arrives, then surely Allah is All-Seeing of His servants. (Quran 35:45)
If Allah were to punish people ˹immediately˺ for their wrongdoing, He would not have left a single living being on earth. But He delays them for an appointed term. And when their time arrives, they cannot delay it for a moment, nor could they advance it.
[Quran 16:61]
...If your Lord's decree had not gone forth before, a decisive judgement would have been made among them, once and for all... (Quran 41:45)
And I will give them time. My plan is firm. [Quran 68:45]
Scholar Abdullah remarked: "There is a verse in the Quran that every wrongdoer should be terrified of." He was asked, "Which verse is that?" He replied,
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. (Qur’an 99 : 7 – 8)
May Allah protect us from the cruelty and every evil deeds and give us the opportunity to do good deeds.
Ameen Ya Rabbul Alameen
Ya Allah, If I was ever the reason of someone's pain, please heal them and forgive me.
