Restore your peace with Quran

A man of bad character punishes his own soul.

You will never find happiness until you clean the garden of your heart from the poisonous plants of envy, hatred, spite, and resentment.

Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, ...Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. [Sahih al-Bukhari 52]

those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness. and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). (Quran 91 : 9 - 10)

...there is no change in the words of Allah... [Quran 10 : 64]

Ziyad bin `Ilaqah narrated from his uncle, that he said: “[The Prophet (ﷺ)] used to say: ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil character, evil actions, and evil desires (Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika min munkarātil-akhlāqi wal-a`māli wal-ahwā’).’” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3591]

A proud man is always looking down on things and people Pride

...surely Allah does not love him who is proud, boastful. [Quran 4:36]

I think, kayenat ka pehla gunah na shirk thah na kufr, balke pehla gunah thah, "Pride, main is'se behtar hoon".

...I am better than him, you create me from fire and you created him from clay. (Quan 7:12)

Who's said this word to Allah?

Shaitaan. Ek abid ko shaitan kisne banaya? uske ghuroor ne isliye mere bhai kabhi takabbur ghuroor mat karo.

O Allah, please remove all pride and arrogance from my heart. Ameen

I am removing one part from my body which is NAFS.

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “No one will enter Paradise who has pride in his heart equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and no one will enter Hell who has faith in his heart equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed.” [Sunan Ibn Majah 4173]

Ego is just a small three-letter word, which can destroy a big nine-letter word called Hereafter.

Haritha b. Wahb reported that he heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: May I not inform you about the inmates of Paradise? They said: Do this, of course. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: Every humble person who is considered to be humble if he were to adjure In the name of Allah, He would fulfil it. He then said: May I not inform you about the denizens of Hell-Fire? They said: Yes. And he said: Every haughty, fat and proud (person). [Sahih Muslim 2853a]

Ya Allah, cleanse my heart of arrogance and pride and make me as a sincere, humble Muslim. Ameen ya Rabbul Alameen.

As for the last home (of Paradise), We shall assign to those who neither want pride nor do mischief in the land. The good end is for the pious. (Quran 28:83)

Abdullah narrated: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever has a speck of pride (arrogance) in his heart, shall not be admitted into Paradise. And whoever has a speck of faith in his heart, shall not be admitted in to the Fire.'" He said: "So a man said to him: 'I like for my clothes to be nice, and my sandals to be nice?' So he said: 'Indeed Allah loves beauty. But pride is refusing the truth and belittling the people.'" [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1999]

In another narration:

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The haughty, even with pride equal to a mustard seed in his heart, will not enter Jannah." A man enquired: "What about that a person likes fine dress and fine shoes?" He said: "Allah is Beautiful and likes beauty. Pride amounts to disclaiming truth out of self- esteem, and despising people ." [Muslim]. [Riyad as-Salihin 1575]

No matter how pretty your face is, how rich you become. One day you will still be the foods of worms. So set aside your arrogance and remember your grave. Be humble and don’t think that you are better than anyone else!.
