Restore your peace with Quran   

A man of bad character punishes his own soul.

You will never find happiness until you clean the garden of your heart from the poisonous plants of envy, hatred, spite, and resentment.


Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, ...Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. [Sahih al-Bukhari 52]


those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness. and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). (Quran 91 : 9 - 10)


...there is no change in the words of Allah... [Quran 10 : 64]


Ziyad bin `Ilaqah narrated from his uncle, that he said: “[The Prophet (ﷺ)] used to say: ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil character, evil actions, and evil desires (Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika min munkarātil-akhlāqi wal-a`māli wal-ahwā’).’” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3591]


Prohibition of rejoicing over another's trouble.

Wathilah bin Al-Asqa' (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not express pleasure at the misfortune of a (Muslim) brother lest Allah should bestow mercy upon him and make you suffer from a misfortune." [At- Tirmidhi]. [Riyad as-Salihin 1577]
